Selva Hernández es una mujer particular; bibliófila, librera, diseñadora, coleccionista, tipógrafa. Su mundo es un constante diálogo entre la historia y las nuevas y destellantes maneras de aprehender el mundo. Sin ir a contracorriente es capaz de detenerse y mirar atrás. Su casa, también, es como un libro, que se abre y va descubriendo secretos de un librero a otro librero, de una habitación con tipos móviles a un taller para niños (plastilina, paredes rayadas, crayolas) a un estudio con primeras ediciones de viejas revistas o a otro con docenas de carpetas repletas de ex libris clasificados por países. Su entusiasmo por los libros contagioso. Para cada libro, estampa o ex libris que coloca en tus manos, tiene un adjetivo o una frase que resume su admiración por lo que tú estas tocando o viendo; pero como suele suceder, lo que uno ve no es lo que ella ve; siempre hay algo más.

No sé si sea real, pero es bonito.
